Can I have a stove without a chimney?
Yes. Where there's no existing chimney, we design and install an insulated twin-wall flue system that lets you site a stove almost anywhere, internally or up an external wall.
What's the difference between wood-burning and multi-fuel?
A wood-burner is optimised to burn logs on a flat bed. A multi-fuel stove adds a grate and ash pan so it can also burn approved smokeless fuels. We'll help you choose based on the fuel you'll realistically use.
Do I need a Defra-approved stove?
If you live in a smoke-control area, you'll need a DEFRA-exempt stove to burn wood legally. Much of Kent has such areas. We'll check your address and recommend a compliant model.
Will you line my existing chimney?
In most cases, yes. A flexible flue liner improves the draw, safety and efficiency of a stove on an existing chimney. We'll confirm what your chimney needs at the survey.
Do you supply the stove or just install it?
We supply and install, sourcing quality stoves to suit your style and budget. If you've already bought one, we're happy to discuss fitting it subject to a survey.
Is the installation certified?
Every stove we fit is installed to HETAS standards and certified on completion. We also service what we install, year after year.
