It's a village of character homes: flint and brick cottages set back from the shingle, period houses along the Leas, and larger detached properties built to take in the sea view. Each brings its own considerations when it comes to a fire.
A coastal position means real exposure: the salt air and the wind off the Channel both matter when we specify a flue and a stove or gas fire.
