What Is a Media Wall?
A quick primer.
A media wall is a purpose-built feature wall that brings together an electric or gas fire, a recessed television and often shelving or storage in one seamless, finished surface. The TV sits flush, the fire glows beneath or beside it, and all the wiring, sound bars and devices are concealed inside the wall.
Most media walls use a sleek electric flame fire: slim, safe against the screen and requiring no flue. We can also design around a gas fire where the layout allows. Whichever route suits you, we'll specify it, build it and finish it to a standard you'll be proud to show off.

Media wall questions, answered.
Electric or gas fire in a media wall?
Most media walls use a slim electric flame fire. It sits safely close to the TV, needs no flue, and offers flame-only or flame-and-heat modes. Where the layout and ventilation allow, a gas fire is possible too. We'll advise the best fit for your wall at the design stage.
Will the heat affect my television?
No, not when it's designed properly. We position the fire and screen with the correct clearances and, where needed, vent heat away from the TV. That careful design is exactly what separates a bespoke media wall from a DIY job.
Can you hide all the cables and devices?
Yes. Concealing power, aerial, HDMI, sound bars and games consoles inside the wall is a core part of what we do, with neat access where you need it for future kit.
Do you handle the plastering and electrics too?
We do. A media wall touches joinery, plastering, electrical and fireplace work. We coordinate all of it so you have one team and one finished result, not five trades to chase.
How long does a media wall take?
Most installs run over several days from build to finish, depending on size and complexity. We'll give you a clear timeline at the consultation so you know exactly what to expect.
Can you work to my interior designer's plans?
Gladly. We're happy to build to an existing design, or to design the wall ourselves, whichever suits your project.
