If your fire is a Gazco and you've been quoted a long wait by the manufacturer, we have a dedicated service for exactly that. As Stovax & Gazco trained and approved engineers, we can usually have a Gazco fire diagnosed and running again far sooner than the official route.

How often should I service my fire or stove?
Once a year is the standard recommendation for both gas fires and stoves, usually before the colder months. Regular servicing keeps it safe and efficient and helps avoid breakdowns when you need the fire most.
Do you service fires you didn't install?
Yes. We service and repair most makes and types of gas fire and stove, whoever fitted them, including older fires that haven't been looked at in years.
Can you carry out a landlord or home-buyer safety check?
We can. We provide documented safety inspections for landlords and prospective buyers, carried out to the correct standards by registered engineers.
My fire has stopped working. Can you repair it?
In most cases, yes. Problems with pilot lights, ignition, fans and seals are often straightforward to fix. Tell us the make, model and what it's doing and we'll advise.
Do you sweep chimneys?
We service stoves and inspect flues, and can advise on sweeping as part of keeping a solid-fuel appliance safe. Let us know your setup and we'll point you the right way.
Are you registered?
Yes, our work is carried out by Gas Safe and HETAS registered engineers. Safety is never something we cut corners on.
