Gas fire questions, answered.
Can I have a gas fire without a chimney?
Absolutely. A flueless or balanced-flue gas fire needs no chimney. Flueless models burn cleanly into the room, while balanced-flue fires vent through an external wall. We'll survey your space and recommend the right option.
Do you supply the fire, or just fit it?
Both. We supply, install and certify, sourcing the fire from the leading makers to suit your style and budget. If you've already bought a fire, we're happy to discuss installing it, subject to a safety check.
How realistic are the flames?
Genuinely impressive. Modern living-flame fires use hand-laid fuel beds, layered ember glow and adjustable flame height. Most people can't tell at a glance. Come and see the difference a quality fire makes.
Are gas fires efficient to run?
Today's glass-fronted and balanced-flue fires are far more efficient than older open fires, with much of the heat staying in the room. We'll talk you through the efficiency of each option so you can weigh look against running cost.
Will you remove my old fire?
Yes, we can safely disconnect and remove your existing fire and make good ready for the new installation. Just let us know at the consultation.

Every gas fire we install is fitted and certified by Gas Safe registered engineers. We're fully insured, and we service everything we fit.
